# Where to stay for Gramado's Natal Luz 2026–27 > Choose a room around the show you will attend and the return after it. Canonical: https://premierbrazil.com/gramado-natal-luz-where-to-stay/ Language: en Updated: 2026-10-21 ## Short answer Natal Luz is scheduled from 22 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. Start with the specific performance or free event you want, then compare a central Gramado stay with an address near that venue or a separate Canela base. The season dates do not mean every show runs daily. ## Central Gramado - Best fit: Town evenings, restaurants and a flexible base for several events. - Trade-off: A central room is not automatically beside each paid show. - Move smart: Check the event venue and your return route from the exact hotel. ## Near the chosen venue - Best fit: A particular show is the fixed point of the trip. - Trade-off: The location may be less convenient for other nights or activities. - Move smart: Choose the performance first and compare real addresses, not a generic event label. ## Canela as a separate base - Best fit: A nearby town stay that can be part of a wider Serra Gaúcha trip. - Trade-off: Natal Luz venues are in Gramado, so each event needs a return journey. - Move smart: Price the whole transfer and confirm late transport before comparing room rates. ## Anchor the stay to one real event Gramadotur, the organiser, lists the 41st Natal Luz season in Gramado from 22 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. It does not place every event in one venue. The organiser's programme is the controlling source for the particular performance, time and admission rules you intend to use. A central hotel can be convenient for town evenings while a show elsewhere still needs transport. A hotel near one venue may save time on that night and add travel on other days. Compare the complete stay, not a single map distance. ## Make the journey back part of the booking If you choose Canela or a property away from central Gramado, confirm how the group gets back after the performance. Do not assume normal daytime transport works at the end of an evening show or in busy holiday traffic. Check the event's current ticket and cancellation conditions separately from the hotel's. A season listing does not establish show availability, room availability, a fixed price or an affiliate ticket offer. ## Decision rules - Pick the specific event night before booking non-refundable accommodation. - Compare the exact venue and hotel, not only the towns. - Budget time for the late return and for a change in the programme. ## Before you book - Confirm the current programme and ticket terms with Gramadotur. - Verify the address of the performance and late return transport. - Check the property's cancellation and arrival terms for your exact dates. ## Useful questions ### Does the festival run every day? The organiser lists one season, but individual shows and free activities have their own dates and times. Check its programme before fixing your nights. ### Is Canela the same base as Gramado? No. It can work as a separate town base if the journey back from each planned Gramado event suits your group. ## Stay for the celebration. ### 41º Natal Luz de Gramado 22 October 2026–17 January 2027 · Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul The organiser lists the 41st season. Individual shows, venues and free attractions have their own dates and admission rules. Choose Gramado as a dedicated Christmas stop, not an outing from Rio or Florianópolis. Compare a central address for town evenings with the exact show venue; a town-centre room does not remove the journey to every performance. Reserve an arrival buffer and check the late return before choosing non-refundable nights.
